Route rage: Frustrated commuters feel left behind by OC Transpo changes (Capital Current) | Oct. 2, 2018

In Sept. 2018, OC Transpo made changes to route 11 so that it ended at Confederation Square. Many transit users raised concerns about the distance between that stop and the Rideau Centre, which the route used to service. We took to the streets to find out just how manageable the change is for transit users.

Kari Glynes Elliott is an avid user of route 12 that runs from Vanier to Ottawa’s downtown core. With the Sept. 2018 changes, the bus now drops her off at Metcalfe Street, several blocks from her workplace located at Kent and Spark streets.
